Financial intermediation in Guinea
Receipt, transmission and execution of orders, securities placement and custody, from Conakry.
Financial intermediation — the receipt, transmission and execution of orders on behalf of third parties — remains in its infancy in Guinea compared with the financial centres of the neighbouring WAEMU zone. This lack of intermediation infrastructure hampers both Guinean savers' access to the markets and Guinean issuers' access to investors.
AXIS FINANCE was incorporated to carry out, subject to the required licences, the full range of asset management and intermediation businesses: receipt and execution of orders, securities placement, custody and administration of securities, and portfolio management on behalf of third parties.
The client's interest comes before the interest of the transaction: AXIS FINANCE is not remunerated on turnover, but on the relevance of the advice it provides.
What sets our approach apart.
The client's interest, not the transaction's
No remuneration based on volume or turnover — advice that recommends not trading is still remunerated advice.
Integrated custody and management
Securities account keeping, portfolio management and investment advice all rely on the same compliance framework.
International reach
Our network of correspondents provides access to regional and international markets without multiplying intermediaries.
